The ABC-XYZ Adjustable PC Board Cradle™ is a world-first with so many helpful features engineered bringing more utility to technicians! Your PCB glides within the X-Axis, dove-tailed PCB tracks on extra-smooth, gliding ESD-safe Teflon® bushings in this multi-faceted PCB fixture.

The ABC-XYZ includes up to 12 knobs for adjustments and locking the X, Y and Z axis, two PCB holding tracks with precision grooves, 4 thermally-insulated thumb screws, 4 dual-purposed tightening clamps for PCB's with irregular sides or edge connectors, a heavy-duty framework with superb stability, 4 robust support posts with spring-activated Z-Axis plus large non-skid rubber feet.

The ABC-XYZ helps eliminate unwanted PCB movement once a chip or  component has been positioned, such as surface mount devices and ball grid arrays packages like the QFP, PLCC, BGA, SOIC, QFN, CSP and more including small ceramic capacitors and resistors. The ABC-XYZ is solid and machined to precision tolerances. Additionally, it accommodates large and small PCB's and all three axis are easily adjustable and can be locked securely into the desired position.

ZeroFlex™ PCB Option: For those working with Video Game Consoles -- such as the XBox, PlayStation® or Wii™ -- the challenge of preventing even minimal flexing of the PCB during soldering rework of GPU's and CPU's is well established. One of the remarkable features of the ABC-XYZ is how it permits the use of and insertion of a PCB "brace or bracing fixture" to hold the PCB firmly. In this case, the PCB is first secured onto the brace fixture. Together, they are then secured into the ABC-XYZ. This provides a technician with our ZeroFlex™ advantage as opposed to other methods. And because the ABC-XYZ is adjustable in the Z axis, your PCB can be lowered back to the original height so your PCB co-relates exactly with the original temperature of the pre-heater below it! Amazing!

Flat, Open-Frame Table Top Feature Option: Zephyrtronics invented the stand-alone "open frame" PCB fixture. We also invented the "flush top" feature. (See the Video) This is important to note because by simply removing the top four knobs, your ABC-XYZ becomes a flat, table-top design permitting even much larger military and satellite boards to rest directly on top of the frame for either assembly, preheating, soldering, or de-soldering tasks. In fact, the table top frame is proven far superior to the cantilevered-type fixtures which can stress the substrate causing fissures and weakening solder joints. ABC Cradles support the PCB preventing stresses to the substrates, vias, laminations, and the solder joints as well
