Video: BGA DeSoldering & Removal Demonstration with NASA Commentary: This short, but superb video demonstrates how easy it is to de-solder and remove any Ball Grid Array device in less than 5 minutes and introduces the ZT-7000 Comprehensive BGA, SMD, QFN Hot Air Benchtop System. Thermal profiling is taught including ramping, preheating, soaking and final reflow and removal of a BGA, QFN, CSP or any SMT device. The demonstration includes board prep before rework including fluxing, aligning, the desoldering process and cleaning the PCB after chip removal.
